One of our initiatives at Western & Wildlife Art Magazine is to focus not just on news of artists and shows, and the sale of fine art, but also global conservation of wild habitat and species.

How does art and conservation work together? The study of western and wildlife art brings awareness and educates the public through carving, painting, photography and sculpture. Throughout human history, people have always preserved what they understand and love; whether it is deserts and grasslands of the Old West or mountain gorillas and snow leopards in their natural habitat.

Fine art in a household is a symbol of a person’s concern, dedication, and passion for the preservation of western culture, heritage and wildlife conservation. This is tangible evidence of financial commitment of collectors to conservation. For this reason and that of personal interests, Western & Wildlife Art Magazine will feature articles and news relating to conservation in each issue.
